 RGV announce Retirement From Tollywood

Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma had once again claimed that he is going to quit the Tollywood and ‘Vangaveeti’ would be last movie in Telugu. Basically there is a fight between two families Devineni family and Vangaveeti family in Vijayawada, who belong to different castes. Because of these caste conflicts several people lost their lives belonging to both the groups. Ram Gopal Varma planned to give a celluloid shape by preparing a story with the killing of Vangaveeti Radha and the subject ends with the death of Vangaveeti Ranga.
It may be mentioned that Varma had earlier also made an announcement about quitting from the Telugu film industry after the release of ‘Govinda Govinda’ but re-entered the Tollywood. This time he had announced the retirement from the Telugu film industry during the audio release of his forthcoming movie, ‘Vangaveeti’. The song goes like this ‘Kamma Kamma..Kapu Kapu’. It may be mentioned here that Varma had already shifted his base to Mumbai and decided to concentrate on Hindi films going further.
There was a serious opposition from various parties including Vangaveeti family, who threatened him to stop the film. Varma selected a person for the role of Vangaveeti Radha and released certain stills of that actor. Surprisingly he is almost a look like of the Radha. As of now Varma is busy with the shooting of an international project titled ‘Veerappan’ and the regular shooting of ‘Vangaveeti’ will start after the completion of the project on hand.
